The spark
A trail, a dog,
and a bowl forgotten at home
It was a beautiful July day. We were heading out on a hike with our poodle Shaï — backpack, water, snacks, good vibes. We'd thought of everything. Except the bowl.
Halfway through, Shaï was panting. We poured water into the cup of our hand. Awkwardly. Half of it on the ground. We looked at each other: there has to be something better than this.
We searched. What we found in stores was either too bulky, too fragile, or frankly ugly. Nothing matched the way we live — or the way Shaï does.
The turning point

The creation
Six months of prototypes,
one goal: perfection
We spent months testing materials, redoing prototypes, and interviewing dog owners from across Quebec. 18/8 stainless steel emerged naturally — sturdy, safe, timeless.
We built the two bowls directly into the design. Added a carry bag. A pouch for waste bags. Everything we'd wished we had that day, in one elegant object.
The Canini 4-in-1 Water Bottle was born. Made for people who refuse to choose between practicality and beauty.

La Boîte à Penny (Granby) and Marais des cerises (Magog) join the Canini network. The beginning of a presence at the heart of Quebec.
